Park Plan update : Discussion of all neighborhood park concepts will continue at CAC Meeting #10 on Monday, Sept. 24, 2018, 5:30-8:30 pm at Van Cleve Recreation Center, 901 15th Ave. SE. The draft plans for Architect Triangle and Hi-View Park have been forwarded, but there will be more discussion of Columbia Park at the meeting. The current draft plan puts an ice rink/roller rink where the parking lot is for the dog park and adds a clubhouse for the rugby teams near the playgrounds.

The Zoning Board of Adjustment adopted staff findings for the applications by Husman Enterprises, LLC.
- Variance to reduce the corner side yard setback.
Action: Approved the variance to reduce the corner side yard setback from eight feet to three feet for a single-family dwelling, subject to the following conditions:
- Approval of the final site, floor, and elevation plans by the Department of Community Planning and Economic Development.
- All site improvements shall be complete by August 23, 2020, or the permit may be revoked for noncompliance.
