2 PAC

People who are curious.  People who want to know “Who ya gonna call?”   Graffiti haters, safe streets promoters, block club leaders, trash pick-uppers, your PAC needs YOU!

2-PAC is the Precinct Advisory Council in the MPD 2nd Precinct.  Residents “advise” the officers, city and county attorneys, parole officers and others that “something’s going on”.
In return, the Second Precinct “advises” us — renters and homeowners — on crime and safety trends in the 2nd Precinct:  what the 2nd is doing, and what they need from us (If you see something…)   We want to keep the Second Precinct the best and safest place to live in Minneapolis — that happens when residents get involved and learn how programs work.
We meet the second Monday of the month, 10 months a year.  Gathering starts at 6PM with a call to order at 6:15. The place is 1900 Central Ave NE, the Monroe Village Apartments community room.   Next meeting is June 10; put it on your calendar.
Most meetings start with an expert on a subject that affects you.  In 2018, some of our speakers “advised” us on topics including Solving a “Cold Case”, 311 services (all of them), how 911 operates, services available to victims of assault, and more.
