Board Elections (10 Positions) our elections are open to anyone over 18 living or working in the Columbia Park Neighborhood and you can be nominated by someone or self-nominate. Currently the term is one year and there are no term limits.
7:09- Because this is an election themed evening we have invited guests to speak to the Charter Amendments that will be appearing on the City Election ballots this November (all city offices, Mayor, Council Members, Park Board Commissioners and Member of the Board of Estimate and Taxation appear as well). Each group has 20 minutes in which to present and answer questions.

June 22 Public Meeting for Draft 2022-25 Transportation Improvement Program
The Metropolitan Council’s Transportation Advisory Board is receiving public comment on Draft 2022-25 Transportation Improvement Program. Come and talk with us about transportation improvements in our region at an online public meeting on Tuesday, June 22 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Register here for the online meeting.
About the Transportation Improvement Program
The four-year program includes highway, transit, bicycle, and pedestrian projects proposed in the Minneapolis-St. Paul urbanized planning area including the seven-county metropolitan area.
These projects will:
- Build better roads that improve safety and include all forms of transportation
- Improve highways, bridges and interchanges that enhance traffic flow and improve local access
- Invest in transit to create a stronger system that supports our growing region and better serves everyone
- Create community connections by developing and improving bikeways and walkways
The program will be recommended by the board and approved by the Metropolitan Council. Public comment will be received until 5 p.m., Tuesday, July 6.

The final document will be considered at the Aug. 18 Transportation Advisory Board meeting, which begins at 12:30 p.m. The Council plans to consider final adoption of the program on Sept. 22.
