Columbia Park neighborhood meetings

  • Where: Columbia Park Manor, 3300 Central Avenue NE
  • Day: Third Monday of the month, except July and December
  • Time: 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Citizen patrol group

  • When: every Monday evening at 6:30, May-October (weather permitting)
  • Where: corner of 37th Avenue NE and 5th Street NE

Annual Neighborhood Events

  • Earth Day cleanup (Saturday in April): gather at Columbia Park playground
  • Annual meeting and neighborhood potluck: 3rd Monday in June (date announced here and in newsletter), 6:30-8:30 p.m., at Columbia Park picnic pavilion
  • National Night Out, first Tuesday in August

Special Neighborhood Events

Community Picnic and Puppet Show “Nalah and the Pink Tiger”

Columbia Park Neighborhood Association sponsored this event on Wednesday, July 24 (rain or shine) at Columbia Park pavilion, 800 Columbia Parkway–community potluck at 5:30 p.m., puppet show at 6:30. The show was performed by Anne Sawyer-Aitch with “In the Heart of the  Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre.”

It seems that a good time was had by all. Thanks to Anne Sawyer-Aitch, CPNA and all who showed up to make it a success.
